Review:
Had a great shopping experience. Bad experience came when I tried to return a product that didn't meet my expectations. Received two free body washes on my initial purchase and, when trying to return a $16 product that didn't do what it was suppose to do (remove hair), the sales person said that I needed to return one of the free body washes since I didn't "deserve" to get it since I was reducing the total price of my initial purchases. I had already started using the body washes and, even though I told her that, she wouldn't budge. I wrote the company via their website and, after five days, I still haven't received a reply.
I was a fan of this store for 15 plus years and wasn't trying to "get over" on anything. Their refund policy states, "If a product doesn't meet your expectations, we will GLADLY accept the return with a full refund". It further states, that it can be returned to ANY store worldwide. Clearly this wasn't the case and clearly they didn't GLADLY do anything. They stated that their refund policy said I had to return the free product also and it CLEARLY didn't.
You'd think that their values would mean something and they had integrity but apparently it doesn't extend to backing up their refund policy for a $16 dollar return. What a joke. The way I was treated by the Store Manager when trying to return the only product I've ever tried returning in over 15 years of purchasing from this company in Germany and the United States, I am truly disappointed that they are so shallow with their assumptions and lack the integrity that I thought they had.
