Stay Away from Softmocs! 10/30/2009 - 18:51

Review:

Bought defective Mephistos online. The second time I wore them the heel bed on one shoe caved in and got mushy. Returned them to a store and was told they didn't have another pair in my size so they couldn't replace them and my credit card would be credited. Weeks later, after repeated phone calls, they have now changed their mind and will only give me a credit note because the shoes have been worn. How on earth would the defect have been noticed if they hadn't been worn? It took two occasions for the defect to present itself. This company is so greedy they are willing to lose a customer over a $100 purchase. Do yourself a big favour and shop somewhere else and spare yourself some aggravation. Poor quality shoes and horrendous customer service!!
