I ordered 2 pairs of blinds from SelectBlinds. One pair was shipped 4 days later, as was promised by their site. The other pair, having no such promise, still has not shipped almost a month later according to their order status. I have called their 24-hour "Customer Care" line three times, with them twice promising to call me back (which they never did). On the most recent call, the representative on the line let me in on the little secret that their 24-hour "Customer Care" line is really only for taking orders. To talk to actual customer service, they need to e-mail the actual company that manufactures the blinds -- if the manufacturer don't respond to the e-mail, the "Customer Care" people can't help you. I'm hoping the Better Business Bureau has better luck in helping me with this order.
P.S. -- SelectBlinds also e-mails your order status with your password in unencrypted text in the body of the e-mail. This should not be considered a secure site for ordering.

Our order was shipped fast and we were satisfied with the quality of the blinds...The problems are..there were no instructions with our order....No hardware list...I checked their website for instructions and since our blinds were over 70" wide we needed the support brackets...the brackets came with our order but the website just had a short mention on them...NOTHING ON HOW TO INSTALL OR ANY PICTURES ON HOW THE BRACKETS SHOULD FIT.... I will think twice about ordering from them again!! Cutomer Support was NO help at all, support told me that I would have to wait until Monday before anyone could send instructions...what the???? The only time that I can install the blinds is on the weekend...they can't even email me some instructions???? I can find quality at a number of on-line stores...it's the GOOD customer service that I will have to keep looking for!!!
