| Review: | Good news: Delivery speed was good.
Bad news: The rest of the order was a nightmare. I ordered a exhaust manifold only to find that the gasket wasn't included. I called back to partsamerica and they said that a local store had it. I drove there and they said they didn't have it! Big surprise, since reading the other reviews. I called again and told them my issue. They gave me a 20% discount, but then I had to go pick it up. This time they assured me it was there... and guess what.. it wasn't there! Not only that, but the open order didn't have my 20% discount!! So I called back and told me they'd give me 10 more dollars off. I became VERY VERY irate and spoke with the manager who was very understanding. I told him that he should pay be more the part since I had used all my time, gas, vehicle depreciation. He offered a compromise and gave the part at cost to me which was essentially a 60% discount with free shipping. This has been the worst transaction EVER.
There is no guarantee a shop will have the indicated inventory... they need to redesign their online/store pick up process... |
