Terrible Merchant 10/20/2008 - 18:21

Review:

Mercantila is a terrible company with which to do business! I ordered a bed from them on Sep. 17, was charged for it immediately and promised shipping within 1-2 days. It is now Oct. 20 and my bed has not even shipped yet! Multiple attempts to contact customer service and find out what was going on have been unsuccessful. Mercantila does not offer telephone service for anything but new sales, and emails and voicemails about existing orders are ignored. Even an attempt to cancel my order has received no response. Judging from other reviews I've read (too late, it seems), I can forget about getting my money back any time soon if I get it back at all. DO NOT shop on any of mercantila's websites.
