Review:
I use hair straightener every day in US, so when I was traveling to Europe I needed one with 220V. Folica product heated up very well first time, and then....
it stopped heating up at all; it possibly had a faulty switch. I panicked, and rushed to look for another product in a local store (found a GREAT Panasonic product for $ 70.00.)
Folica returned all the money upon my return to US (I had to call them 3 times!).
So, overall, the product is good, it does not burn the hair and heats up pretty well, except, I was not very lucky with my particular straightener. Unfortunately, I could not check it before my trip!
They have all the beauty supplies you need. But, I bought a straightener from them two months ago, and it isn't working anymore. I tried to email them for my warranty, but they never replied. My luck I guess, but to buy something for 100+ and it not work after two months? With no repair help? This kind of sucks. I know it's not folica.com's fault for it not working, but they SAY they do provide the product with warranty, so I don't know. I don't really trust them anymore.
I bought a flat iron and an array of professional hair care products from Folica recently. They have a great selection of items and reviews from actual customers for each product, including before+after photos. The only problem is that they do not ship packages on weekends, so it takes longer to arrive. Folica is my one-stop shop for all my beauty needs :)
