I¡¦ve ordered rechargeables from all-battery.com since 2006. Recently our 3-year old AA Tenergy rechargeables are near the end of their lives (after ~800 recharges) so I went ahead and placed an order for a T-1000 Ultra Fast Dual Use Charger & 24 AA 2600mAh NiMH Rechargeables bundle which was on sale at the time and shipped free for $35.99.
Nice price and received the package in only 2 days ¡V impressive. Only downside is that shipment was not Fedex¡¦ed but via USPS so no tracking available but can¡¦t complain about that given the fast delivery ƒº
I bought those batteries primarily for a Medela breast pump that used 8x AA batteries. The alkalines that come with the pump last around 1day¡¦s use so it¡¦s a no-go. Our old dying Tenergy AAs last around 2~3 days. A bunch of brand AA rechargeable batteries at amazon.com for 1.5-2x the price I paid at all-battery.com last just a little longer than 4 days. What we were hoping to get is even longer battery life so my wife doesn¡¦t have to change the battery at all during the work week. Fortunately she doesn¡¦t have to now ¡V we¡¦ve been testing the newly arrived Tenergy batteries for a month now and she has only needed to recharge every 8 work days! Since she also carries a spare set of 8 she will never need to touch the DC to AC converter in the car which helps to keep the pumping environment clean and contamination free. We¡¦re glad that the quality of the Tenergy batteries have been great and consistent over the years.
The only complaint I wanna make is that these NiMH rechargeables seem to lose charge pretty quickly - I usually find them only half full after a month of idling around at room temperature (~75F). My solution is to store them at the bottom of the fridge (cool them down) and that helps a lot to hold the charge well after a couple of months. Well, that isn't the fault of their batteries, just the technology needs improvements. So far I am satisfied with Tenergy batteries and will probably order some more if I need batteries/chargers in the future.
Well with my 3rd transaction from http://www.all-battery.com under my belt I assumed it would be easy sailing with some more batteries unfortunately I found nothing but woe's. I had quite a hefty order with 24 AA and 12AAA batteries and 1 of their deluxe chargers.
This charger detects the peak point of charge (using the small over voltage burst at full charge) MUCH BETTER THAN and only recommended charger on their website, the rest seem to be time chargers based on rate of fill.... HORRIBLE kill your batteries in less than 200 charges. I had ordered one of these and then read it and changed my order for the $5 more expensive deluxe model. However it was relatively easy to change my order, no undue grief.
Products arrived amazing as usual. I am selling these to friends and families, giving this stuff away as gifts because it’s such a steal people think I'm spending a fortune! Battery ratings are farther off with this latest batch, batteries appeared to be ~ an average of 800mAh instead of the rated +- 10% 1000mAh however for the price I have no complaints!
Very strong discharger, if using ½ the rated power battery will last about 40 minutes longer than it should! Quite remarkable, so obviously they are slightly being mis-marketed as their real value is not in high drain digital equipment. However they do a good job with that as well. Charger is cheaper than before, looks like a new revision, but as I said before for the price no complaints at all. I will not hesitate to purchase from them again and again and again!
A friend purchased a lithium Ion pack from them, for the price it performs better than airplane packs rated at twice the power from hobby companies!!!!! If you know anything about model airplanes you realize how wonderful that is to hear for an extra 40 or 50 minutes of airtime for an eighth of the price.
