| Review: | Buying good deal at a1 is so easy. HOWEVER, I totally un-recommend a1. Their customer service is horrible, and their policies are so ridiculous and strict.
I bought two phones from them, Razr V3. One was good, and the other one was defective. I went to my plan provider (CINGULAR), and the personnel over there told me that the guy who inserted the SIM into the phone pushed it in too hard that he destroyed the phone and the SIM. He gave me a new SIM that works, and advised me to contact a1 to replace the phone.
The only problem is that I threw away the old SIM, a SIM with a puncture on it, and that is damaged to the bare eye.
I contacted a1, and they would not replace the phone because I do not have the old SIM. They said they have to get everything back including the SIM. They would not even compromise by charging me for the old SIM, or fixing the phone instead of replacing it. They were very rude, and I quote them "I know this is unfair, but it is our company policy". I tried to talk to several customer service support people, and to managers, but it did not work...
Now, I have to buy a new phone for $200!
